Meet Dr. Balvant Arora, MD, MBA

Medical Director, board-certified plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgeon

Dr. Balvant Arora is a board-certified plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgeon, and a hair transplant surgeon. He is passionate about comprehensive, holistic treatment plans that go beyond one-size-fits-all solutions, and he continually expands his repertoire by learning the latest cosmetic procedures.

Certified as a plastic surgeon by the Medical Council of India, Dr. Arora came to the United States in 1992 and obtained ECFMG certification in 1994. He completed a general surgery residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York, a plastic surgery residency at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, and a fellowship in cosmetic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. He then joined Stony Brook University Hospital as an Assistant Professor in the division of Plastic Surgery, where he was actively involved in research and teaching.

Before joining the practice, Dr. Arora worked as a staff plastic surgeon at Mary Washington and Stafford Hospital in Virginia, serving as Chief of Surgery and President of Medical Staff at Stafford Hospital. A lifelong learner, he completed an MBA in Healthcare Management in 2013, receiving his business school's Outstanding Student Award, and is also board certified by The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

Dr. Arora is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and an associate member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. He has presented at conferences and seminars nationally and internationally, and brings more than two decades of experience across plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery and hair loss treatment. His key focus is understanding what makes each case unique, then building a personalized plan for natural-looking results.

In addition to a busy surgical practice, Dr. Arora loves teaching and has volunteered free surgical services on his annual trips to India for the last 20 years. He loves music and dance, and has a passion for the power of words.
