Our anniversary announcement looks back on 25 years of cosmetic dermatology care in Greater Cincinnati, beginning when Dr. Shalini Gupta opened the Montgomery practice in 2001. The story also looks at how cosmetic dermatology has changed during that time, while individual consultations and treatment plans have remained central to the practice.
The practice has grown beyond its first two lasers. Meet the clinical team, including medical director Dr. Balvant Arora and nurse practitioners Lauren Barnhill and Sarah Lockwood, and learn how care has developed over the years. The team sees patients from Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Dayton, with services that have expanded as new laser and energy-based technologies became available.
Dr. Gupta's path back to Cincinnati included an MD from Harvard Medical School in 1996, an internship at Brown, a photomedicine fellowship at NYU, and dermatology training at the University of Washington. The story follows how her study of light and skin shaped the practice's early laser work and the consultation-led approach she brought home.
