Lauren is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of nursing experience and a diverse clinical background that includes extensive work in critical care. Caring for medically complex patients throughout her career has shaped the way she practices today: with careful attention to detail, thoughtful clinical decision-making, and a strong appreciation for treating the whole person rather than simply addressing an isolated concern.

Her interest in dermatology grew from recognizing how significantly skin conditions can affect a person's comfort, confidence, and quality of life. Lauren enjoys caring for patients with a wide range of medical dermatology concerns and places particular emphasis on patient education. She believes patients should understand what is happening with their skin, why a particular treatment is being recommended, and what they can realistically expect from their care.

Lauren also has a strong interest in aesthetic dermatology and enjoys helping patients develop personalized treatment plans that complement their individual features and long-term skin health. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, she considers each patient's goals, lifestyle, skin characteristics, and preferences when discussing treatment options.

Her years in critical care taught Lauren the importance of listening closely, communicating clearly, and remaining attentive to even subtle changes in a patient's condition. She brings that same level of care and attentiveness to dermatology, creating an environment in which patients feel comfortable asking questions and participating in decisions about their treatment.
