FaceTite

FaceTite is a minimally invasive contouring treatment that does two things in one session: it removes small pockets of facial fat and it tightens the skin above them. Radiofrequency energy works beneath the surface through a tiny entry point, delivering more dramatic change than any non-invasive option without the incisions or recovery of a facelift.

FaceTite explained

What isFaceTite?

FaceTite uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis, RFAL for short. After the area is numbed with local anesthesia, a thin probe passes beneath the skin while a second electrode glides along the surface above it. The energy travelling between them melts unwanted fat, which is gently removed, and heats the deep layers of skin so the tissue contracts, all monitored by a dual-temperature system for precision and safety.

That heat is also a signal. Over the weeks and months that follow, your skin remodels and builds new collagen, so the tightening you see at first keeps improving, with full results at three to six months.

Think of FaceTite as the middle ground: more change than non-invasive treatments like Ultherapy can deliver, because fat is actually removed, but without the incisions, scarring, and downtime of a surgical facelift. Most patients are back to normal life within days, not weeks.

Who is FaceTite for?

FaceTite is for people whose lower face has started to slip and who want real change without a facelift.

FaceTite is not a facelift replacement: significant sagging still responds best to surgery. We examine your skin and fat distribution at a consultation and tell you plainly which approach will get you the result you want.

You have mild to moderate laxity

Sagging in the lower face or neck, a softening jawline, or deepening smile and marionette lines.

Stubborn fat is part of the picture

Small pockets that will not budge, most often the double chin, jowls, and along the jawline.

You want more than non-invasive can give

Because FaceTite removes fat and contracts tissue directly, the change is more dramatic than energy-only treatments.

You want a short recovery

Local anesthesia, a few days of swelling, and back to normal activities within the week for most patients.

You have realistic expectations

The goal is a firmer, better-defined face that still looks like you, not a surgical transformation.

Where FaceTitecontours

FaceTite focuses on the lower face and neck, where fat and laxity blur definition, and several areas can be treated in a single session for full lower-face rejuvenation.

Performed under local anesthesia in our office. One treatment is typically all it takes.

Expect mild swelling, bruising, and a feeling of tightness for the first few days. Most patients are back to normal activities in three to five days and back at work within a week; full recovery takes a couple of weeks.

Some tightening shows shortly after treatment and keeps improving as collagen builds, with full results at three to six months. Results typically hold for several years, depending on your skin and how it ages.

Frequently asked questions

Is FaceTite painful?

It is performed under local anesthesia, so you may feel pressure and movement but not pain. Afterward, mild soreness and tightness resolve over a few days.

How is FaceTite different from Ultherapy or Thermage?

Those treatments deliver energy from outside the skin and rely entirely on collagen response. FaceTite works beneath the skin, physically removing fat while contracting tissue directly, so the change is more dramatic. The trade is a few days of recovery.

How long is the downtime?

Most patients are back to normal activities in three to five days and back at work within a week. Swelling and bruising fade over the first week or so, and full recovery takes a couple of weeks.

How soon will I see results?

Some tightening is visible shortly after treatment. The result keeps improving over the following weeks and reaches its full effect at three to six months as new collagen forms.

How long do results last?

Results typically hold for several years, depending on your age, your skin, and your lifestyle. Your face keeps aging naturally, and a maintenance treatment down the road can extend the result.

Will I have scars?

The probe enters through a tiny point rather than an incision, so there is no visible scarring to speak of once healed.

Is FaceTite better than a facelift?

It is a different tool. FaceTite is the less invasive choice for mild to moderate laxity, with far less downtime. Significant sagging still responds best to a facelift, and we will tell you honestly which you need.

Is FaceTite safe?

Yes. The technology is FDA-cleared, and the dual-temperature monitoring system controls energy delivery precisely. In experienced hands it has a strong safety record.

How many treatments will I need?

One treatment is typically sufficient. Some patients choose a maintenance treatment after a few years as natural aging continues.

Can FaceTite be combined with other treatments?

Yes. Patients often pair it with filler, Botox, or laser resurfacing to address volume and skin texture alongside the contouring. We also offer AccuTite for delicate areas like the lower eyelid and BodyTite for the body.
