The procedure begins with local anesthesia. Once the breasts are fully numb, a small number of micro-incisions are made near the areolas and the Thermi probe is passed beneath the skin, delivering radiofrequency energy directly into the breast tissue. The heat causes the collagen proteins there to coagulate and strengthen, tightening and lifting the tissue, and it stimulates the creation of new elastin, which adds further lift, firmness, and tone.
Afterward the micro-incisions typically heal quickly and completely, leaving little trace of the treatment. The lift builds as your collagen remodels: most patients begin to see the change at about two to three months, with full results visible six to twelve months after treatment.
