Wellness

How you feel matters as much as how you look. Alongside dermatology and body contouring, our Montgomery Road office offers a small, focused wellness menu: nutrient infusions, B12 shots, and device-based treatments for knee pain and heel pain.

Feel better, not just look better.

IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, and minerals straight into the bloodstream for immediate absorption, with drips built for recovery, immunity, energy, and general wellness. B12 injections are the quick version: a concentrated intramuscular dose for energy, metabolism, and mental clarity, especially useful if your diet, age, or digestion makes B12 hard to absorb.

The other two treatments borrow our aesthetic technology for orthopedic problems: Emsculpt NEO strengthens the muscles that stabilize an aching knee, and Z Wave uses acoustic shockwaves to calm the heel pain of plantar fasciitis.

How wellness visits work

Start with an assessment

Whether you are booking a drip or dealing with heel pain, the visit starts with a review of your health, symptoms, and goals. For knee and foot treatments, that includes confirming the diagnosis and making sure the technology fits the problem.

A plan built for your case

IV infusions are chosen from a menu targeting recovery, immunity, energy, weight support, and more, and can be tailored to you. Device treatments are planned as a series: Z Wave sessions run about 15 to 20 minutes, and Emsculpt NEO sessions about 30.

Quick, comfortable sessions

Everything in this category is non-surgical and fits into a normal day. A B12 shot takes minutes; an infusion is a relaxed seated visit; Z Wave is generally painless, with some patients noticing a slight tingling sensation; Emsculpt NEO contracts the muscle for you while you lie back.

Follow-up and maintenance

Progress is checked at follow-up visits, and plans are adjusted as your symptoms change. Many patients schedule maintenance sessions, whether that is a monthly drip or occasional device sessions to keep pain relief and strength gains going.

Frequently asked questions

What is IV therapy and why not just take supplements?

IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. That means higher absorption and faster results than oral supplements, which lose potency as they pass through digestion. Drips are selected from a menu targeting recovery, immunity, energy, hydration, and general wellness.

Who benefits from B12 injections?

People who follow vegetarian or vegan diets, are over 50, have digestive conditions that limit absorption, or simply struggle with fatigue, brain fog, or a sluggish metabolism. Because the injection goes directly into muscle, it bypasses the digestive issues that make oral B12 unreliable, and many patients feel more alert within hours to days.

How can a body contouring device help knee pain?

Weak muscles around the knee are a leading cause of knee pain. Emsculpt NEO uses electromagnetic energy to contract the quadriceps, hamstrings, and calves far beyond what voluntary exercise achieves, strengthening the support around the joint, while its radiofrequency energy increases local blood flow. Stronger, better-supported knees mean less strain and less pain.

What does Z Wave treatment for plantar fasciitis involve?

Z Wave delivers radial acoustic shockwaves to the inflamed plantar fascia, improving blood flow, stimulating collagen production, and breaking down fibrous tissue. Sessions take about 15 to 20 minutes, are generally painless aside from a slight tingling sensation, and involve no incisions and no lengthy recovery period. Most patients notice improvement over a short series of sessions.

Is there any downtime with wellness treatments?

No. These treatments are all non-surgical, and you can return to work and normal activities right away after an injection, an infusion, or a device session.

How much do wellness treatments cost?

Pricing depends on the drip or treatment plan you choose and, for device treatments, the number of sessions your case needs. You get a clear quote at your visit before anything is scheduled, and financing through CareCredit is available.
