Smooth, firm facial skin representing SkinTyte infrared skin tightening

SkinTyte

SkinTyte tightens loose, crepey skin with broadband infrared light. The energy heats the deeper layers of the skin while sapphire cooling keeps the surface comfortable, contracting existing collagen right away and prompting your skin to build new collagen and elastin over the months that follow. No incisions, no anesthesia, and little to no downtime.

What isSkinTyte?

SkinTyte is a non-invasive skin tightening treatment that uses broadband infrared light to heat the dermis, the deeper layer of the skin where collagen lives, while advanced sapphire cooling protects the surface. Most patients feel little more than a warm sensation from the handheld device; no anesthesia is typically needed.

The heat works in two ways. It contracts the collagen fibers you already have, which gives a degree of tightening shortly after treatment, and it signals your skin to remodel, producing new collagen and elastin over the following weeks and months. That is why the result looks natural: it is your own skin firming itself.

The most noticeable improvement builds over several weeks to months, with optimal results within two to three months of completing a series of treatments. Because there are no incisions, you can return to work and daily activities immediately; any mild redness typically resolves within a few hours.

Who is SkinTyte for?

SkinTyte is for skin that has started to loosen and needs firming, not surgery.

SkinTyte cannot replace a surgical facelift. What it can do is improve mild laxity and often delay the need for surgery. At your consultation we assess your skin and tell you honestly whether SkinTyte, a different tightening treatment, or a surgical option will get you the result you want.

You see early signs of aging

Fine wrinkling, crepey texture, and skin that no longer snaps back the way it used to.

Your neck or jawline has loosened

Loose skin on the neck or jawline is one of the signs SkinTyte is designed to address.

Weight loss left skin behind

Skin laxity after weight loss or pregnancy, on the abdomen and elsewhere, responds well to infrared tightening.

You want no surgery and no downtime

SkinTyte firms skin without incisions or anesthesia, and you return to normal activities immediately.

Your expectations are realistic

The improvement is real but gradual and suited to mild to moderate laxity, not the dramatic change of a facelift.

Frequently asked questions

What does SkinTyte treat?

SkinTyte tightens loose skin and improves elasticity on the face, neck, abdomen, arms, thighs, knees, and other areas with mild to moderate laxity, wrinkling, or crepey texture.

Is SkinTyte painful?

Most patients describe the treatment as comfortable. Built-in sapphire cooling protects the skin surface, and you may feel a warming sensation as the handheld device passes over the area. No anesthesia is typically required.

How does SkinTyte work?

Broadband infrared light heats the deeper layers of the skin, contracting existing collagen for some immediate tightening and stimulating new collagen and elastin for gradual, longer-term firming.

How long does a treatment take?

Between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated.

Is there any downtime?

Little to none. You can return to work and daily activities immediately. Some patients have mild redness that resolves within a few hours.

How many treatments will I need?

Most patients benefit from a series of 3 to 6 treatments spaced several weeks apart. Your plan is tailored at your consultation.

When will I see results?

Some mild tightening can appear shortly after treatment, but the most noticeable improvement develops over several weeks to months as new collagen forms, with optimal results within two to three months of completing a series.

How long do results last?

Results typically last several months to over a year, depending on your age, skin, and how you maintain it. A maintenance session once or twice a year helps preserve the improvement.

Is SkinTyte safe for all skin types?

It is designed to safely treat a wide range of skin types. A consultation confirms whether it is the right fit for your skin.

Can SkinTyte replace a facelift?

No. SkinTyte improves mild to moderate laxity and can delay the need for surgery, but it does not produce the lift of a surgical facelift.

Can SkinTyte be combined with other treatments?

Yes. It is often paired with laser resurfacing, injectables, or other skin rejuvenation treatments for a more complete result.
