Ultherapy
Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared non-invasive procedure that lifts and tightens skin on the face, neck, and chest. Focused ultrasound reaches the same deep layers addressed in a surgical facelift, prompting your skin to build new collagen and elastin on its own. Our practice was among the first in the country to offer it.
What isUltherapy?
Ultherapy uses high intensity focused ultrasound to treat skin laxity where it actually begins. Lasers work at the surface; Ultherapy passes harmlessly through it to reach the deep foundation layer a surgeon would tighten in a facelift, and the deep dermis above it, where the energy triggers fresh collagen production.
During treatment, ultrasound gel is applied and the handpiece delivers precise pulses of energy. Most patients feel warmth and tingling as each pulse lands, a sign the collagen-building process has started. Depending on the area, you are in and out in 30 to 90 minutes.
There is no surgery, no needles, and no recovery to plan around. Mild redness or swelling settles quickly, though some patients notice the jawline feels tender to the touch, like a worked muscle, for a few weeks afterward. Ultherapy is safe on all skin types and tones, and our practice has offered it since its earliest days, following protocols we helped establish.
Who is Ultherapy for?
Ultherapy is for people who see skin starting to loosen and want to lift it without surgery.
The honest answer comes from a consultation. We assess your skin's laxity and tell you plainly whether Ultherapy will deliver the lift you want, or whether another treatment, or surgery, is the better answer.
You have mild to moderate laxity
A softening jawline, early jowls, loose neck skin, a brow that has begun to drop, or lines on the chest.
You are not ready for surgery
Ultherapy is the treatment patients choose to postpone or avoid a facelift, and it is popular for early intervention before sagging advances.
You want to prevent, not just correct
Adults of all ages use Ultherapy to stay ahead of future sagging by keeping collagen production active.
You are a man or a woman
Ultherapy is popular with both, and the change is gradual enough that it is difficult for anyone to tell you have had a cosmetic procedure.
Your laxity is not severe
Significantly loose skin responds better to surgery. If that is your situation, we will say so.
Where Ultherapylifts
Ultherapy is FDA-cleared for the face, neck, and chest: it lifts the brow, the area under the chin, and the neck, and it improves lines and wrinkles on the décolletage.

Whatto expect.
Book a consultationPricing depends on the areas treated, so we build a personalized quote at your consultation.
A single in-office session, sized to the area. No anesthesia, no incisions, and you return to your normal activities right away.
Return to work and exercise the same day. Mild redness or swelling settles quickly, and the treated area, especially the jawline, can feel tender to the touch for a few weeks as it responds.
Lift builds gradually as new collagen forms: visible improvement by two to three months, continued gains up to six. Results commonly last a year or two, with touch-up treatments keeping collagen renewal going.
Frequently asked questions
Is Ultherapy painful?
You feel warmth and tingling as each pulse of energy is delivered, and some spots are more sensitive than others. The discomfort is temporary and is actually a signal that the collagen-building process has begun.
How long does a treatment take?
Between 30 and 90 minutes depending on the areas treated. It is a single in-office visit, and a topical numbing cream can be applied beforehand for comfort.
Is there any downtime?
You can return to work, exercise, and daily activities immediately. Mild redness or swelling resolves quickly, though the jawline can feel tender to the touch for a few weeks, similar to a worked muscle.
When will I see results?
Improvement appears gradually as your body builds new collagen, with visible change at two to three months and continued progress up to six months.
How long do results last?
Results commonly last a year or two, since your skin keeps aging even as the new collagen holds. Periodic touch-up treatments keep the renewal process going.
Can Ultherapy replace a facelift?
No. It reaches the same deep layer a facelift tightens, but the lift is more modest. It is the right choice for mild to moderate laxity and for patients who are not ready for surgery; severe laxity is still better served by a facelift.
Is Ultherapy safe?
Yes. It is FDA-cleared, has been used in over a million treatments worldwide, and is safe on all skin types and tones. Our practice was among the first in the country to adopt it.
How many treatments will I need?
Most patients need just one. Some choose a repeat treatment after a few months for additional tightening, and touch-ups over time maintain the result.
Does Ultherapy treat chest wrinkles?
Yes. It is FDA-cleared to improve lines and wrinkles on the décolletage, one of the few treatments cleared for that area.
Will my results look natural?
Yes. Because the change comes from your own collagen and builds over months, the result reads as your face, refreshed, rather than as a procedure.
Is Ultherapy for men too?
Absolutely. It is popular with men who want a firmer jawline and neck without surgery or telltale signs of treatment.
Can I combine it with Botox or fillers?
Yes, and many patients do. Ultherapy lifts and tightens; injectables smooth lines and restore volume. Together they cover more of what aging changes.
