VelaShape
VelaShape is an FDA-cleared, non-surgical treatment that reduces the appearance of cellulite while improving skin tone and texture. It combines four technologies in one handheld device, radiofrequency, infrared light, vacuum, and mechanical massage, to work on every layer of the problem at once. What isVelaShape?
Cellulite is a structural problem: fibrous bands beneath the skin pull downward while fat pushes up between them, creating dimples no cream can smooth. VelaShape addresses the structure itself. Its combination of bipolar radiofrequency, infrared light, vacuum suction, and mechanical massage, known as ELOS technology, treats multiple layers of the skin in a single pass.
The radiofrequency and infrared energy heat the dermis and the fat cells beneath it, contracting existing collagen while stimulating new collagen and elastin and encouraging fat cells to shrink. Meanwhile the vacuum lifts the tissue closer to the energy source and, with the massage rollers, stretches and relaxes the fibrous bands responsible for dimpling, improves circulation, and boosts lymphatic drainage so the body clears excess fluid and metabolic waste.
A session lasts 20 to 60 minutes depending on the size and number of areas. You feel gentle suction and a spreading warmth, comfortable enough that some patients fall asleep. Afterward there may be mild redness or warmth, and you return to normal activities immediately. Results build over a series of treatments: smoother texture, less visible cellulite, a slight reduction in circumference, and firmer, tighter skin.
Who is VelaShape for?
VelaShape is for people close to their target weight who want to smooth what diet and exercise cannot.
VelaShape is not a weight loss treatment, and for significant excess skin or diastasis recti it is not a tummy tuck replacement. At a consultation we look at your skin and your goals and tell you honestly whether VelaShape, on its own or paired with another treatment, will get you there.

Depends on the size and number of areas: arms run about 20 to 30 minutes, the abdomen 30 to 45, the thighs 30 to 60. No anesthesia, no needles.
You may notice mild redness or warmth for a short while afterward. Normal activities, including work and exercise, resume immediately.
Texture improves within two to three treatments and cellulite visibly reduces after three to four, with full results six to eight weeks after the final session. Maintenance every three to six months keeps them going.

Can VelaShape help me lose weight?
No. VelaShape is not a weight loss treatment. It is designed for contouring, skin tightening, and cellulite reduction in people already near their target weight.
How many treatments will I need?
Most patients benefit from a series of 3 to 6 treatments spaced one to two weeks apart, followed by maintenance every three to six months.
How soon will I see results?
Skin texture often improves within two to three treatments, cellulite visibly reduces after three to four, and full results develop six to eight weeks after your final session as collagen remodels.
Are results permanent?
Results are long-lasting but not permanent, typically three to six months and up to a year or more with maintenance. Regular maintenance sessions prolong them.
What happens if I skip maintenance?
Results fade more quickly. Skin laxity and cellulite slowly return over time without periodic touch-up sessions.
Can I get just one treatment?
You can, but a single session will not produce dramatic change. One-off treatments work best as a maintenance boost or event prep; a full series delivers the real result.
Can VelaShape help after pregnancy or weight loss?
Yes. It is well suited to smoothing skin and restoring tone after body changes, and it serves as a non-invasive alternative to a tummy tuck for mild to moderate laxity.
Can VelaShape replace a tummy tuck?
No. It handles mild to moderate skin laxity well, but significant excess skin or diastasis recti still calls for surgery. We tell you which side of that line you are on at consultation.
Does VelaShape help with stretch marks?
It is not designed for stretch marks, but the improvement in skin texture and tone may make them less noticeable for some patients.
Can VelaShape be combined with other treatments?
Yes. We commonly pair it with Vanquish ME, Exilis Ultra, EMSCULPT NEO, or Morpheus8 when the plan calls for fat reduction, deeper tightening, or muscle toning alongside it.
