Chin & Jawline Enhancement
A defined jawline and a balanced chin anchor the whole face. Expertly placed dermal filler builds that structure without implants, incisions, or general anesthesia: forward chin projection, a sharper jaw angle, a cleaner line between face and neck. Thirty to sixty minutes, immediate results, and back to your day the same day.
What is chin andjawline filler?
The lower face loses definition for structural reasons: the jawbone slowly resorbs with age, fat pads shrink and shift, collagen declines, and skin loosens. The result is jowling, a softer jaw angle, and a chin that reads recessed. Filler addresses the cause directly, restoring the volume and framework the years have taken, or building definition you never had.
Using needles and fine cannulas, your injector places filler along the jawbone and chin to build projection, elongate or square the jawline, camouflage jowls, and carve out the border between face and neck. The work is tailored by anatomy and by goal: men usually want strong angles, square contours, and projection; women usually want soft curves, smooth transitions, and elegant definition.
The practice draws on the full filler toolkit and often combines products: hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvederm Voluma XC, Restylane Lyft, and RHA 4 for immediate, reversible definition; Radiesse for robust structure with collagen stimulation; Sculptra for gradual collagen building; and Bellafill for those who want the most enduring outcome. Most enhancements use two to four syringes, and the fillers contain lidocaine on top of topical numbing, so comfort is built in.
Who is it for?
This is for anyone whose lower face has less structure than they want, whether age took it or it was never there.
Treatment is postponed if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have certain skin conditions, and overall good health matters; a true double chin of submental fat is better served by Kybella or skin tightening than by filler. We walk through all of it, including combinations with cheek filler, lip filler, Botox, or skin tightening, at your consultation.
A recessed or underdeveloped chin
Filler builds forward projection and balances the chin with the jaw and the rest of the profile.
Jowling or early sagging
Strategic volume along the jawline disguises jowls and restores a cleaner line. This works best for mild to moderate laxity.
A jawline you want defined
Sharpens the jaw angle and creates separation between face and neck, in profile and straight on. Excellent for men wanting a more chiseled look.
Facial asymmetry
Precise placement evens out imbalances between the two sides of the jaw and chin.
Surgery is off the table
You want a more youthful, structured lower face with minimal downtime and realistic expectations, not an operation.
Where the fillergoes
Every plan starts with facial analysis and mapping. Filler is then placed along the bone in the zones that give your lower face its architecture.

Whatto expect.
Book a consultationPricing depends on the fillers chosen and the number of syringes; most chin and jawline enhancements use two to four. You receive a personalized quote at your consultation.
Consultation and mapping, cleansing and topical numbing, then strategic injection and refinement for symmetry. The fillers themselves contain lidocaine.
Back to work and social plans the same day. Mild swelling or bruising, if any, resolves within a few days.
Definition is visible right away and settles fully within one to two weeks. Results last roughly 12 to 24 months depending on the filler, with touch-ups to maintain them.
Frequently asked questions
Is jawline filler painful?
Discomfort is minimal. The skin is numbed with a topical anesthetic and the fillers themselves contain lidocaine, so most patients find the injections very tolerable.
How soon will I see results?
Definition is visible immediately after the injections. Any mild swelling settles over a few days, with the full result in place within one to two weeks.
How long do results last?
Roughly 12 to 24 months depending on the filler used and your metabolism. Periodic touch-ups keep the result going.
How much filler will I need?
Most chin and jawline enhancements use two to four syringes, often combining products. Your injector gives you an exact plan at your consultation.
Which fillers are used?
Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm Voluma XC, Restylane Lyft, and RHA 4; Radiesse for robust structure and collagen stimulation; Sculptra for gradual collagen building; and Bellafill for the longest lasting outcomes. The choice depends on your anatomy, skin, and goals.
What if I do not like the result?
Hyaluronic acid fillers are reversible: they can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. That safety valve is one reason HA products are a common starting point.
Will my face look fake?
No. The goal is balance and harmony, structure that looks like it was always yours. Men are treated for strong angles and projection, women for soft curves and smooth transitions.
Can filler fix a double chin?
It can disguise one by defining the jawline above it, but filler does not remove fat. A true double chin of submental fat is better treated with Kybella or skin tightening, which we also offer.
Can chin filler affect my bite or teeth?
No. The filler is placed in the soft tissue over the bone and has no effect on your bite or teeth.
Is there any downtime?
No. Most patients return to work and normal activities the same day. Mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising can occur and fades within a few days.
Are there risks?
Side effects are usually limited to temporary bruising, swelling, redness, or slight asymmetry as things settle. Rare vascular complications are minimized by expert technique and deep knowledge of facial anatomy.
Can I combine this with other treatments?
Yes. Chin and jawline filler pairs well with cheek filler, lip filler, neuromodulators like Botox or Daxxify for jaw slimming, skin tightening, and Kybella, depending on your overall plan.
