Most take 15 to 45 minutes with little to no downtime, and your injector selects the filler, from Juvederm to Sculptra, that fits your face and goals.
What aredermal fillers?
As the face ages it loses volume: cheeks flatten, lips thin, and the folds around the nose and mouth deepen. Dermal fillers replace that lost structure. A smooth gel is injected precisely where the face has hollowed, restoring contour and softening lines in a single visit.
Most fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a sugar your skin already produces, which binds water and can be dissolved if you ever change your mind. Others, like Radiesse, Sculptra, and Bellafill, work by prompting your own collagen production. Radiesse and Bellafill add volume right away and keep building collagen afterward, while Sculptra develops gradually over a short series.
There is no single best filler, only the right one for the job. Our practice has been injecting in Cincinnati for over two decades, and your injector chooses the product, depth, and amount around your anatomy, so the result reads as a rested, natural version of you rather than an obvious procedure.
Who are dermal fillers for?
Fillers are for people who want to restore what age has taken, without surgery and without looking done.
The consultation matters more than the product. Your provider assesses your skin, facial structure, and goals, then recommends the filler and placement that will actually achieve them, or tells you honestly if a different treatment would serve you better.

Mild redness, swelling, or bruising can appear at injection points and settles within days. Skip intense exercise, alcohol, and direct sun for 24 to 48 hours.
Most fillers show immediately and last 6 months to 2 years depending on the product and area. Sculptra builds gradually over a series and lasts up to two years or more, while Bellafill shows immediately, keeps improving for several months, and can last up to five years.

How should I prepare?
Avoid blood thinners such as aspirin and ibuprofen for a few days beforehand, skip alcohol for 24 hours, and tell us about any medical conditions or allergies at your consultation.
What if I do not like the result?
Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, so the result is adjustable and reversible.
Can fillers be combined with other treatments?
Yes. Fillers pair naturally with Botox and other wrinkle relaxers, laser treatments, and skincare procedures. Many patients combine them in a single plan.
How much do fillers cost?
