How injectables work here
A face-to-face consultation first
You do not need to arrive knowing your product. Your provider looks at how your face moves and where volume has shifted, listens to what bothers you, and explains which tool actually addresses it, or whether none does.
Conservative, deliberate dosing
Units and syringes are dosed to your anatomy, not to a menu. We would rather have you return for a touch-up than walk out overdone, because you can always add and you cannot easily take away.
A quick, comfortable visit
Most injectable appointments take about 15 to 30 minutes with a fine needle and no anesthesia beyond optional numbing. You go straight back to your day, and mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site is common and usually settles within a few days.
Results reviewed over time
Relaxers settle over about two weeks, fillers as swelling resolves, and Sculptra over months as collagen builds. We review your result and adjust at follow-up when needed.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know which injectable I need?
You do not have to know, that is the consultation's job. Lines that appear when you make expressions call for a relaxer like Botox or Dysport; hollowness and lost contour call for filler; fat under the chin calls for Kybella. Your provider examines your face in motion and matches the product to the problem.
What is the difference between Botox and the other relaxers?
Botox, Dysport, Daxxify, Jeuveau, and Xeomin all relax the muscles behind expression lines using the same class of purified protein. They differ in onset, spread, formulation, and how long they last. Which one suits you comes down to your anatomy, your history with relaxers, and your goals.
Will I look frozen or overfilled?
That is what conservative dosing is for. We use conservative amounts and precise placement so expressions stay natural and results read as rested rather than treated. If you have been overdone elsewhere, hyaluronic acid fillers can often be dissolved and the plan restarted properly.
Does it matter that a dermatologist does the injecting?
We think so. Injectables are medical procedures, and results depend on judgment about facial anatomy as much as product. This is a physician-led dermatology practice, and physicians here set the treatment protocol and the dosing for every injectable.
Can Botox treat medical problems too?
Yes. Beyond wrinkles, Botox is an established treatment for chronic migraines, TMJ pain and clenching, excessive sweating, and gummy smile. Each has its own page and its own dosing, and all are performed in our Montgomery Road office.
How much do injectables cost?
Relaxers are priced by unit and fillers by syringe, so cost depends entirely on your plan. You receive a personalized quote at your consultation before anything is scheduled, and CareCredit financing is available.
