Intimate health

Bladder leaks, pelvic floor weakness, vaginal laxity, and erectile dysfunction are medical problems, not embarrassments. Our Montgomery Road office treats them the way we treat everything else: privately, without judgment, and without surgery.

Quiet problems, real solutions.

For women, that can mean leaking when you laugh, cough, or exercise, a pelvic floor that never fully recovered from childbirth or menopause, or changes in comfort and sensation. For men, it can mean erectile dysfunction that pills have not fixed. Every treatment here is non-surgical: the EMSELLA chair strengthens the pelvic floor while you sit fully clothed, ThermiVa and Emvagin restore tone without incisions, and injectables offer another route: Botox for erectile dysfunction when oral medications have not worked, and plasma protein therapy for both erectile dysfunction and bladder control.

Nobody in the waiting room knows why you are here. None of these treatments require recovery time, though after the injectable options we ask you to wait a few days before resuming sexual activity.

Private consultation with Dr. Shalini Gupta at the Montgomery Road office

What a visit looks like

A private, judgment-free consultation

You meet one on one to talk through your symptoms and health history: the leaks, the discomfort, the changes since childbirth, menopause, or prostate treatment. These conversations stay in the exam room, and there is no topic our team has not heard before.

A plan matched to the cause

Pelvic floor weakness, tissue laxity, and blood flow problems each call for a different tool. Depending on the exam, the plan may center on the EMSELLA chair, radiofrequency treatment with ThermiVa, Emvagin, or an injectable option like plasma protein therapy or Botox for ED.

Short, comfortable sessions

Most treatments here take about 30 minutes or less. EMSELLA and Emvagin sessions happen fully clothed while you sit and relax; ThermiVa feels like gentle warmth. None of those three require anesthesia, incisions, or recovery time.

Results that build over the series

Many patients notice improvement after the first sessions, with results continuing to develop over the course of treatment. At follow-up we review honestly what has changed, and whether maintenance sessions make sense for keeping it that way.

Frequently asked questions

How private are intimate health visits?

Completely. Consultations happen one on one in a private exam room, your reason for visiting is never discussed outside it, and the office treats everything from acne to Botox, so nothing about being here signals why you came. Discretion is built into how these appointments run.

Who are intimate health treatments for?

Women dealing with stress or urge incontinence, pelvic floor weakness after childbirth or menopause, vaginal laxity, dryness, or reduced sensation, and men dealing with erectile dysfunction or bladder control issues. If a symptom is affecting your daily life or your confidence, it is worth a conversation.

Do any of these treatments involve surgery?

No. Everything in this category is non-surgical. EMSELLA and Emvagin use electromagnetic energy to strengthen the pelvic floor while you remain fully clothed, ThermiVa uses gentle radiofrequency heat, and the injectable options use a fine needle in a short office visit. There are no incisions and little to no downtime, and the injectable options use only a topical numbing cream.

Can men be treated here too?

Yes. The practice offers a men's program that includes EMSELLA for pelvic floor strength and bladder control, Botox for ED, and plasma protein therapy for ED, which can help men who have not gotten results from oral medications. Plasma protein therapy uses your own blood and is not FDA approved for erectile dysfunction or bladder control, so it is offered off label and we review that with you before treatment. Candidacy is confirmed with a health questionnaire at your consultation.

What does a treatment like EMSELLA feel like?

You sit on the EMSELLA chair fully dressed while it delivers thousands of pelvic floor contractions over a roughly 28-minute session. Patients describe tingling and contractions rather than pain, and many read or use their phone during treatment. You can return to normal activities immediately.

How do I get started?

Book a consultation. Our team reviews your symptoms and health history, confirms which treatment fits the cause, and quotes the full plan, including the number of sessions, before anything is scheduled.

Ask about body contouring.

Tell us the area you have in mind and what you have tried. We will come back with which treatments make sense, what they cost, and when you could start.

Your details go straight to our Montgomery Road front desk and are never shared. A team member replies during office hours, usually the same day.
